Historical dates1957�� the Council of�Ministers of�the USSR approved a�decision to�build Syktyvkar Forest Enterprise. 1963�� the construction of�the future gigantic forest enterprise was started in�taiga, thousands of�young communists-volunteers arrived to�be�involved from all over the USSR. 1966�� installation of�Mitsubishi board machine. June�25, 1969�� start-up of�the board machine. This date became the birthday of�Syktyvkar Forest Enterprise and pulp&paper; industry of�the Komi Republic. 1971�� first duplex liquid packaging board in�the USSR was developed and produced in�Syktyvkar Forest Enterprise. 1972�� started production of�printing paper ��1�from dead-white pulp that later was exhibited in����� ����. January�26, 1973�� opened SFE History Museum. 1969�1974�� developed new paper grades as�well as�food packaging board and base paper for milk packaging; conducted test productions of�grocery paper for auto packaging. December�20, 1982�� started first installations of�the Mill�2nd�stage. High-speed advanced width paper machine ��4�was started. 1984�� establishment of�Veterans Organization. 1985�� started new paper mchine �5�� the first machine in�the USSR with 180�thou tons capacity. 1987�� produced the first in�the USSR base-paper for milk packaging �pur-pack�. 1979�1989�� 170�thou m2�of�housing was commissioned; sanatorium-preventorium, house of�services, a�school, three kindergardens and a�stadium were constructed. March�16, 1993�� incorporation of�Syktyvkar Forest Enterprise with the authorized capital of�1 291 868�thou rubles. March�25, 1994�� the first shareholders' meeting. 1996�� SFE became a�complete private company where 77% of�shares owned by�legal entities and 23%�� by�physical persons. 1998�� approval of�SFE Investment Program for 1998�2001�with total value of�USD140,4�mln. Completion of�SFE Investment Program with total value of�USD175�mln enabled to�improve production volumes in�2002�to�650�thou tons. 2000�� produced first cut-size paper �Snegourochka�. 2002�� Austrian company �Neusiedler AG��� the division of�Mondi Europe took up�68,5% of�Syktyvkar Forest Enterprise shares. January�20, 2003�� Syktyvkar Forest Enterprise was renamed in�Neusiedler Syktyvkar. 2003�� started Cut-Size Plant �2�with 142�thou tons annual capacity. Neusiedler Syktyvkar started Pushing the Limits Campaign to�involve employees in�Neusiedler corporate strategy�� become the world's�best office paper producer. Neusiedler Syktyvkar was announced the best industry reputation company (as�a�result of�reputation rating published by�the magazine �Expert� on�the 14th�of�October�2003). January�2005�� Neusiedler Syktyvkar was rebranded in�Mondi Business Paper Syktyvkar. |
