On�the 15th�of�April in�Moscow the laureates of�this All-Russian Forest Industry Award were rewarded. 6�candidates were proposed in�the nomination �For significant contribution in�environment protection� but the winner became MBPSY. |  |
4.03.05�MBPSY summarized reforestation operations results after one year year. Last year in�March MBPSY became the leaseholder of�over 590�thou forest hectares. Based on�Good Citizenship Principles as�well as�Environmental Policy the company committed itself to�recover and improve forests on�own account within the areas leased. Before this was the state responsibility. | |

11.10.04�Open JSC Neusiedler Syktyvkar obtained Environment Management System ISO�14001:1996�certificates from Austrian company OQS. This certificate needs to�be�confirmed every year, that�s�why during the whole year the company will make internal audits. Obtaining of�international certificates is�an�important step in�promotion of�Sytyvkar paper to�European markets. The mill spent one year to�prepare for audit. |  |
